Chris was still missing, and the echoes of his vanishing were growing louder, more insistent, pulling Miller into a labyrinth of shadows and whispers, a place where the light was not always what it seemed. He turned to Jenkins, his face grim. “Get the team inside. We’re sweeping the warehouse. And somebody, get Sarah and David on the phone. Tell them… tell them we’re still looking.” The fight for Chris was far from over. It had, in fact, just begun.
