…A sense of quiet determination settled over him, as steady and unwavering as the stars above. This was his life, etched into the landscape by sun and wind and sweat. It was a life of grit, of resilience, of facing each dawn with a steady hand and an open eye. He adjusted his hat, the brim creased from countless days under the sun, and gazed out at the sleeping herd, a silent promise passing between him and the vast, darkening prairie. The night was deep, and the journey, he knew, was far from over.
