The skepticism hadn't vanished entirely, but it had been tempered by the undeniable sight and sound – or rather, the lack of sound – of Unit 01 performing its duties. The city, once a place of doubt and resistance, now held a glimpse of a cleaner, quieter future, powered by an unlikely alliance of old technology and bold innovation.
