…The Mr. Fox in-box remained fixed in my gaze, its painted grin a constant, unnerving reminder of the power I had unleashed. I had created beauty, but in my obsessive pursuit of perfection, I had inadvertently invited something far older, far wilder, into my world. And now, I was trapped in the heart of my own creation, a prisoner in a ballroom of my own making, a ballroom where the dolls danced to the tune of terror, and the harbinger’s grin was a promise of the nightmares to come. The last vestige of my control had dissolved, leaving me exposed to the whims of the fairytale creatures, trapped within the chilling embrace of their awakened power.
