…“Acquire it, Doctor,” Bodyguard said, his voice a low growl. “I’ll be waiting.” He turned and walked towards the lab’s exit, the sterile air suddenly feeling suffocating. The chill he’d felt earlier had solidified into a cold, hard resolve. The void was calling, and something within its depths was answering. He was the bodyguard, the hunter. And the hunt had just begun. He didn't know what awaited him in Void Sector 734, but he knew one thing for certain: the anomalies were no longer confined to the readings on a screen. They were real, they were lethal, and they were coming. And he would be there to meet them.
