…“We need to get off this station,” Bodyguard said, his voice grim. “Now.” He took Aris’s arm, guiding her through the shadowy corridors, his senses on high alert. Every creak of the hull, every flicker of the lights, sent a jolt of adrenaline through him. The ghost of Kepler-186f clung to them, its cold breath a constant reminder that they were not alone, and that the hunt was far from over. The Stardust Drifter awaited, a fragile sanctuary in the encroaching dark. But as they moved, Bodyguard couldn’t shake the feeling that the void itself was watching, waiting, and that the true horror had only just begun to reveal itself.
