…Tonya saw her chance. As Boomslang attempted a powerful elbow strike, Tonya twisted, deflecting the blow and simultaneously driving her knee into Boomslang’s abdomen. The air rushed out of Boomslang’s lungs in a sharp gasp. Tonya followed through, a brutal uppercut that snapped Boomslang’s head back. Boomslang staggered, her eyes wide with shock, the blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. For a moment, the ruthless facade cracked, revealing a flicker of fear. “This isn’t over,” she hissed, her voice weak but defiant. She lunged again, a desperate, wild attack.
