…Amy sank onto the edge of the desk, the cufflink heavy in her palm. The house, once a symbol of the life she had tried to build, now felt like a tomb. She looked around the study, at the books her husband had loved, the photographs of happier times, and saw only the looming shadow of Becker Jeno Tamas.
