…"So," Chole began, her gaze steady and curious. "Orion's Belt, you say?" Danti, still reeling from the sheer absurdity of it all, managed a weak nod. His public, mortifying, desperate confession had not ended in the way he’d ever imagined. It had ended with an invitation. And a conversation about stars. He had no idea what this meant, or where it would lead, but for the first time in weeks, the suffocating cloud of anxiety that had hung over him began to dissipate, replaced by a faint, bewildering glimmer of… possibility. And a lingering sense of utter, glorious, hilarious chaos.
