…Chole, still smiling, took a tentative step towards him. “So,” she said, her gaze steady. “Sunshine and freedom, huh?” Danti, his heart still hammering against his ribs, managed a shaky nod. He had no idea what was going to happen next. He’d flung himself off a cliff, and instead of hitting the bottom, he seemed to be… floating. It was terrifying. It was exhilarating. And it was, in its own uniquely Danti-esque way, the beginning of something. Something he hadn't rehearsed at all.
