Das Zauber-Handy

…I pulled the phone out of my pocket. It pulsed with a soft, familiar glow, as if acknowledging my thoughts. I held it up, admiring its ancient charm. It had brought me adventure, laughter, and a drawer full of chatty footwear. What more could a kid ask for? I wondered what other secrets it held, what other maps it might reveal. But for now, I was content. I had a magical phone, a drawer of secrets, and a whole lot of stories waiting to be told. And that, I decided, was a pretty wonderful treasure indeed.
