…Bishop met his gaze, a flicker of respect, grudging as it was, igniting within him. “The feeling is mutual, Alpha.” He glanced back towards the cabin, a faint smile touching his lips. He had a feeling his work in Whisper was only just beginning, and the path ahead was littered with more than just sharp teeth and claws. It was also paved with seduction, deception, and the chilling realization that the true monsters might be wearing the robes of the righteous.
