…The path ahead was shrouded in darkness, far darker than any forest he’d ever traversed. But the Soul Sun blade at his hip was a beacon, and Sarai’s secrets were the map. He would bring these deeds to light, no matter how foul they stank, no matter who they implicated. The Church of Radiant Light had made a grave mistake in hiring him. They had unleashed a force they couldn't control, a hunter who didn't care about dogma, only about justice. And tonight, that justice had a very, very sharp edge. He would return to Whisper, not as an executioner of beasts, but as an executioner of lies. The rot would be exposed, and those responsible would burn.
