…“We did it, Rion. Together.” He looked around the room, now peaceful and serene. The Shadow Weaver was gone, banished by the power of faith and the unwavering love of a father. But he knew, with a certainty that chilled him to the bone, that this was not the end. The darkness would always seek to return. But now, he was ready. He was D.A.D., and he would always be there to defend the innocent, to chase away the shadows, to be the light in the night. He looked down at Rion, his precious son, and knew that for him, and for all the children like him, he would never falter. The battle was won, but the war against the dark had just begun.
