Crimson Petals of the Impaler : Book 2

Previously

…Vlad’s promise, forged in the crucible of his formidable will and tempered by the gentle light of Amalie’s spirit, had found its continuation. The love that had once protected a crippled gypsy girl in the shadowed forests of Wallachia now extended its invisible shield to a newborn babe in a world far removed from Vlad’s own. It was a testament to the enduring power of loyalty, a whisper across the centuries that proclaimed that even in the face of death, true love, fierce and protective, finds a way to endure, to protect, and to love again. The journey of the Impaler's promise had not ended; it had merely found a new beginning, a new heart to beat within, a new life to safeguard.
