…I stood tall, my chest heaving, my body trembling from the exertion. The wolf within me was no longer a caged beast, but a loyal companion, its power now a part of me, controlled, understood. I looked at Kael, who was slowly making his way towards me, a tentative smile on his face. And for the first time, I felt a sense of belonging, a flicker of hope for the future, and the dawning realization that my past, and my true nature, were not curses, but strengths. The shadow of the Crimson Moon had been pushed back, and the dawn, however uncertain, was finally breaking.
