…The edges of my awareness dissolved into a blinding white light. The pull was overwhelming, irresistible. I felt myself dissolving, fragmenting, succumbing to the primal urge to return to the singular, dormant state. But as I faded, as the universe I had woven began to unravel, I clung to one fragile hope: Kina. Had I done enough?
