…I clung to the dream like a drowning man to driftwood. I stretched the moments, forcing the universe to hold its breath with me. I sought, with every fiber of my being, a way to tether this fragile cosmos to something more enduring than my own fleeting sleep. It was a desperate act, a defiance of my own fundamental nature, a silent war waged against the encroaching oblivion. The star dimmed further, but in the heart of the dream, a new light, born of desperation and a flicker of independent will, began to burn. And I, the nameless creator, held on, fighting against the very essence of my being to keep it alive.
