…I walked on, the snow crunching softly beneath my boots. The sun, a pale disc in the winter sky, cast long, distorted shadows that danced and writhed like specters. I was a solitary figure against a vast, indifferent landscape, a living embodiment of the unseen, the primal forces that lay dormant within us all. The cabin was behind me, a ghost of a nightmare. But the future, a vast, uncharted territory, lay before me. And in its depths, I could feel it, a dark promise, a chilling certainty: my true journey had only just begun. The satisfaction, the ultimate satisfaction, was out there, waiting. And I was ready to find it.
