As they walked, Aaron felt the shadow stir, and for the first time, it didn't whisper of power or darkness. It whispered of hope. You are not alone. He looked at Lyra, her hand still in his, and he believed it. But the journey was far from over. The shadow lord's words echoed in his mind: The bond is not broken. And Aaron knew, deep in his bones, that the real battle was only beginning.
