…But Aaron knew better. The peace was an illusion, a fragile mask over a world of nightmares. And the nightmares were coming. Ahead, the mountains loomed, their peaks crowned with snow. Somewhere in those peaks lay the witch who could help them. Aaron hoped she was worth the journey. He tightened his grip on his sword and kept walking. The weight of the Heartstone pressed against his hip, a burden he couldn't ignore. But he carried it anyway, because it was their only hope. And he would carry it to the end.
