Guard it well.” The stars were coming out overhead, bright and clear. Elara stopped at the edge of the forest, looking back toward the falls. She could feel the water, the magic, the entity sleeping beneath. It was a part of her now, and she was a part of it. For the first time in her life, she knew exactly where she belonged.
