…He vanished as silently as he had appeared, leaving me alone under the skeletal branches, the wind whispering secrets I was only just beginning to understand. The night air felt heavier, charged with an unseen energy. The familiar, mundane world had receded, replaced by a chilling mystery that was now, terrifyingly, my own. I was a stranger in my own skin, a creature of shadow and blood, and the journey had just begun. My heart, still thrumming with a frantic rhythm, knew this was no dream. This was real. And it was only a matter of time before the shadows came for me.
