The city lights seemed to mock me, a vibrant tapestry of life I was increasingly detached from. The hunt had found us. And this time, it wasn't just me they were after. Lena’s discovery had changed everything, pulling her into the dangerous dance of bloodlines and shadows, a dance I was only just beginning to learn.
