It was a young werewolf, barely sixteen, with sharp eyes and a cruel smile. He had been tracking Lyra for days, ever since he noticed her sneaking out at night. He had followed her to the clearing the night before, had seen her kiss the vampire. And now he knew everything. He turned and ran toward the pack's territory, his heart racing with excitement.
