…I turned and walked towards the entrance of the cavern, the faint glow of the Blade receding behind me. I would seek out the Hermit, learn the ritual, and fulfill the forgotten king’s true legacy. The path ahead would be long, arduous, and fraught with its own challenges. But it would be a path of my own choosing, free from the corrupting embrace of infinite power. The forgotten king’s legacy would be one of peace, not of conquest. And my own redemption, however slow and painful, would be found in ensuring it.
