We walked towards a soft, beckoning light, a light that promised not an end, but a new beginning, a journey beyond the Black Woods, beyond the afterlife, towards a peace we had both so desperately sought. The chains were broken, the cycle was complete, and in the quiet embrace of acceptance, we finally found our way home.
