We were both trapped, caught in a cycle far larger than either of us. The nightmares, the fragmented answers, the constant pursuit – it all began to coalesce into a terrifying, dawning realization. She wasn't the source of my torment. She was a fellow victim, a mirror reflecting a deeper, more ancient horror that dwelled within these spectral woods, within this hell. And whatever was making that hum… it was coming for us both.
