…With a guttural cry, Eva forced herself to move, adrenaline coursing through her veins. The mission was compromised. Her crew was injured, and one of them was dead, absorbed into a monstrous entity. The silence of the station had been a lie. The true horror was not in its emptiness, but in what it contained, what it had birthed. And they had just stumbled right into its twisted heart. The Stardust Drifter felt a million light-years away, and the journey back, if it was even possible, had just become a descent into a hell of their own making.
