…Bartholomew watched as Reginald ambled back towards the polka-dotted toadstool, his peacock boa trailing behind him. He knew, with a certainty that settled deep in his woolly heart, that he would never forget his journey. He turned, a smile on his face, and with a confident stride, began to walk, not towards another portal, but back towards the familiar, albeit now slightly less mundane, path that would lead him home. He was Bartholomew, the sheep who stood tall, the sheep who wore spectacles, and the sheep who knew how to make a sprite snort with laughter. And that, he decided, was a pretty good adventure indeed.
