…This is my final anecdote, my parting gift to you, dear reader. The next time you find yourself beneath the Southern sun, in a quiet cemetery or an old, forgotten place, take a moment to listen. You never know who might be sitting beside you, waiting to share a story. And as for me, I will keep walking, keep listening, keep writing. The shadows linger, but so does the wonder. And that, I have come to believe, is the truest thing of all.
