…But the visions still came. As she drifted toward sleep, she saw a room she didn't recognize, a girl she didn't know, crying out for help. Tjay's eyes opened in the dark. The dread coiled around her again. She reached for her phone, but she didn't know who to call. The secret was out, but the weight of knowing had only grown heavier. Some secrets, she realized, were meant to be shared. But the cost of sharing—of being seen, of being real—was a price she was still learning to pay.
