…“For Willow Creek!” I shouted. “For color!” Russo added. Together, we willed the magic to flow. The cauldron pulsed. The colors swirled faster. Then, with a final, mighty WHOOSH, a wave of shimmering, multi-colored light erupted from the cauldron, not in a blinding flash, but in a gentle, spreading wave. It washed over us, over the workshop, and then out into the world, carrying with it the scent of burnt honey, fresh dew, and pure, unadulterated magic. The air suddenly felt lighter, the heaviness lifting like a forgotten dream. And in the cauldron, the chaotic colors began to meld, not into a dull grey, but into a vibrant, pulsating spectrum of hope.
