…Elara stepped out of Kael’s hut, the cool night air a welcome balm. The village was a silent tableau of sleeping homes, each one holding its own silent fears and desperate hopes. She looked up at the vast, star-dusted sky, a canvas of infinite possibilities that seemed so distant from the blood-soaked earth below. The wooden bird was a small, solid weight in her hand, a symbol of a world unscarred. The path ahead was shrouded in darkness, but for the first time, Elara felt a flicker of true, unyielding hope ignite within her. The symphony of destruction had played for too long. It was time, she realized, to begin composing a new song.
