…The next morning, I took the bus to Trakai. The lake was still, the castle a mirror on the water. I sat on a bench and watched a swan drift past, its movements effortless, purposeful. I wondered if the swan knew the Pareto rule, if it spent 80% of its energy gliding and only 20% paddling beneath the surface. Probably not. It just lived, and in living, it found the balance I was still searching for. The sun climbed higher, and the shadows shortened. I stayed until the light began to slant, and then I walked back to the bus stop, my pockets empty of receipts, my mind full of a single, quiet truth: productivity is not a measure of how much we do, but of how much we let go.
