…The wind outside seemed to subside, replaced by a quiet stillness, as if the world itself was holding its breath, waiting for the next chapter of his tale to unfold. He had spoken of Allora, of the order, of the trials that had shaped him. But the true story, the one that still held him captive, was yet to be told. It was a story of a quest, of a sorceress, and of a love that had bloomed in the unlikeliest of places, a love that had, in its own way, become his greatest strength, and perhaps, his most profound weakness. He took a deep breath, the scent of woodsmoke and old leather filling his lungs. The night was still young, and the ghosts of Allora were restless.
