…in. A strange, disorienting sensation washed over me, a feeling of being pulled, stretched, and twisted. Jeff cried out beside me, his body convulsing. “What the hell…?” I stammered, fighting against the unseen force. The woman’s voice, now a chilling whisper, echoed in my mind. “Your brother’s fear. You cannot protect him from it. And soon, he will be mine. And then, you, Issac, will be mine as well. For eternity.” The world spun, and the last thing I saw before darkness consumed me was Jeff’s terrified face, his eyes wide with a horror I couldn’t comprehend. Victoria’s embrace was tightening, and the serpent was beginning to coil around us both.
