…The white light faded, and the crypt fell silent. The hunters stood frozen, their weapons lowered, their faces a mixture of confusion and awe. On the altar, Valerius and Elara lay motionless, their hands still intertwined. The full moon cast its silver glow upon them, and for a moment, they looked like two mortals sleeping peacefully, their faces turned toward each other as if in a dream. The Whispering Elder watched from the shadows, its form flickering like a dying ember. It spoke no words, but its presence lingered, a silent witness to the sacrifice that had been made. And in the stillness of the crypt, under the light of the moon, the story of Valerius and Elara waited to be reborn.
