And as Ugochi looked out at the familiar landscape of Okoro-Imo, bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun, she felt a flicker of something new, something akin to the quiet resilience of the weed in the cassava patch – a determination to grow, to bloom, no matter how deep the roots of the past might run.
