They had faced the darkness, not with weapons, but with laughter and song, with the simple, potent magic of joy. Creed looked at the crystal, then back at his sister. “We did it, CarterJean. We saved the Whispering Woods.” CarterJean, her heart still thrumming with exhilaration, nodded, her eyes shining with a mixture of pride and wonder. The fear was gone, replaced by a profound sense of accomplishment and the lingering echo of their own brave, joyful song. They had arrived at the heart of the forest, and in doing so, had discovered a magic far greater than they had ever imagined.
