A Knight to Remember (Or Forget)

Previously

…It doesn't create joy out of sheer, unadulterated clumsiness. Sir Reginald, in his magnificent, accidental way, does. And for a dragon who has seen millennia of the same old song and dance, that is a treasure beyond compare. Perhaps, I muse, as the princess returns with a tray of pastries and a mischievous twinkle in her eye, this whole ‘guarding’ business can be… re-evaluated. After all, a good laugh is far more valuable than gold. And this knight, this wonderfully awkward knight, is proving to be exceedingly valuable indeed. The king may have wanted his daughter rescued from a dragon, but it seems he accidentally sent her a comedian instead. And for that, I am eternally… amused.
