A Knight to Remember (Or Forget)

…Ignis gave a theatrical nod. And then, the show began. It was a symphony of planned chaos. Reginald juggled flaming torches (with Ignis providing just the right amount of heat), performed an elaborate dance with a bewildered-looking knightly dummy, and told jokes that made absolutely no sense but were delivered with such earnest conviction that the audience couldn’t help but roar with laughter. I watched from a discreet balcony, a satisfied smile playing on my lips. This was far more entertaining than any ball or suitor. This was life. This was my life, rewritten with wit and whimsy. And it was only just beginning.
