…As Mr. Sparkle bustled out, a renewed spring in his step, the puppies watched him go, a sense of accomplishment warming them from the tips of their noses to the ends of their tails. The glitter trail, the peculiar perfume, Brenda’s sweet ambitions – it had all come together, a slightly silly, yet ultimately heartwarming, puzzle. The Fourth of July was safe, the fireworks were ready, and the Spookyween Detective Agency had once again proven that even the silliest of puppies could solve the most perplexing of mysteries. The scent of gunpowder and excitement hung in the air, a promise of the dazzling night to come, all thanks to a few brave, inquisitive, and very determined little detectives.
