…As they waited, Captain Zoomie surveyed the scene. “A job well done, Spookyween Detective Agency. You’ve turned a potential fiasco into a triumph. Remember,” he boomed, his voice echoing slightly in the quiet bakery, “sometimes, the most unexpected solutions come from the most unlikely places. And sometimes,” he added with a wink, glancing at the slightly frosting-covered puppies, “they even involve a very large cake.” The puppies wagged their tails, a sweet, sparkly victory settling over them like a warm blanket. The Fourth of July would indeed be saved.
