…Heesung watched, tears welling in his eyes, as Min’s spectral presence finally faded, leaving behind only the lingering scent of dust and the quiet hush of the old theatre. The oppressive weight that had hung in the air for so long was gone, replaced by a fragile peace. Heesung stood alone on the stage, the silence now comfortable, not menacing. He had come to the theatre seeking a role, but he had found something far more profound. He had found a lost soul, and in helping Min find his peace, he had, in a strange and unexpected way, found a piece of himself. The mystery of 1985 was still shrouded in some obscurity, but the truth of Min’s innocence, he knew, had finally begun to dawn.
